Cookie Policy

EOM Books uses one strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing else. We don't use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking technology — there simply isn't any in the product today.

Session cookie.When you sign in, we set a single encrypted session cookie (via NextAuth) that identifies you to the Service on subsequent requests. This cookie is strictly necessary — the Service can't function without it — and it's cleared when you sign out or when your session expires.

Local storage (not a cookie).We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device, is never sent to our servers, and isn't used to identify or track you.

No advertising or retargeting cookies, no third-party analytics (we don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools), and no cross-site tracking. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and provide a way to opt out before any non-essential cookie is set.

Because our only cookie is strictly necessary to keep you signed in, disabling it through your browser settings will sign you out and prevent you from using the Service. Most browsers let you clear cookies or block them entirely in their privacy settings if you'd like to do so between sessions.

We may update this Cookie Policy if what we use changes. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
